Lyon by Flight: Lyon international airport is Saint Exupery Airport, located 20min from the city centre. You can come into the centre using a dedicated tramway (Rhonexpress)
Lyon by Train: you can reach Lyon directly by the high speed train lines (TGV) from Charles DeGaulle airport or other main train stations in Europe.

In Lyon: transportation in Lyon is easy using services of the TCL company: Plan your trip by Bus, Subway (Metro), and Tramway, or use the vaporetto! on the Saone river.
The city is easy to navigate on foot - you will regularly come across one of the two great rivers that meet in Lyon, and these are excellent for orienting the lost traveller.
